A local government authority in the UK is seeking a PSVU Admin Officer to provide effective administrative support to the PSVU department. The role requires attention to detail, experience in office management, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. The successful candidate will maintain vetting applications and ensure compliance with data protection principles. Preference will be given to candidates with QCF Level 2 in Maths and English or equivalent work experience.
Hours: 37 hours per week
Contract: Permanent
Closing Date: Wednesday 3rd December 2025 at 23:59 hours
To provide efficient and effective administrative support to the PSVU department, to include managing all communication into the department.

Educated to QCF Level 2 to include Maths and English or relevant work experience deemed to have brought the post holder to a comparable level.
Proven experience working in a busy office environment undertaking duties involving meticulous attention to detail and accurate record data. Competent use of standard Microsoft Office such as Word and Excel. Maintaining/administrating complex electronic databases. Prioritising workloads against competing demands and meeting challenging deadlines.
