An outstanding secondary school in Frimley is seeking a part-time PSHE teacher to inspire students and deliver a quality curriculum. The successful candidate will work two days a week and will play a crucial role in supporting students' personal and emotional development. Enthusiasm and a commitment to teaching PSHE is essential, along with QTS or equivalent. A competitive salary is offered.
Location: Tomlinscote School, Surrey. Start Date: January 2025 or as soon as possible after this. Application Deadline: 9am Monday 8th December 2025. Salary: London Fringe Pay £33,075 - UPS3 £50,471 per annum (FTE). Contract: 0.4 FTE - Part-time 2 days per week on a Wednesday & Thursday, from January 2026 - July 2026. There will be an opportunity to increase the number of days for the next academic year.
This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside the PSHE Lead to deliver responsive and innovative teaching and learning within the PSHE curriculum area within an outstanding Secondary School. The successful candidate will be committed to planning and delivering a high quality, interesting curriculum, which will challenge and inspire all our students.
Developing outstanding PSHE delivery is central to the Trusts ethos as part of supporting not only our students' academic needs but also their emotional and physical development. We are looking for someone dedicated and passionate about supporting our student's personal development and who understands the challenges and opportunities that young people face growing up in modern Britain. They should recognise how PSHE education can help pupils to stay healthy and safe and prepare them for future life. The successful candidate will need to be confident in delivering a range of sensitive topics in an age appropriate manner linked to themes such as RSE, British Values, promoting diversity, equality and challenging radicalisation.
Tomlinscote is a highly successful, over-subscribed, mixed comprehensive school of approximately 1500 students. Our staff enjoy working here because our standards, facilities and staff well-being are excellent.
Any applicant should hold QTS (or equivalent) and a relevant undergraduate degree to be considered for this post.
