We are looking for a Prudential Regulatory Accountant to join our Finance team in London.

Responsibilities
  • Daily reporting and monitoring of capital adequacy and key ratios
  • Preparation and submission of quarterly regulatory returns for EU and UK regulated entities
  • Maintain reporting framework with data validations, reconciliations and variance analysis
  • Produce key management information and provide ad-hoc updates to senior leaders
  • Work closely with development team to enhance the regulatory reporting
  • Responding to queries by the regulator in relation to prudential reporting
  • Work closely with the business on new business initiatives and assess the impact of new products and trade flows
  • Stay updated on changes to relevant prudential regulations and assess impact to the business
  • Maintain supporting documentation and work on continuously improve existing reporting framework
  • Contribute to key regulatory prudential documents
  • Work closely with other DRW teams including Treasury, Risk and Compliance
Required Skills & Experience
  • Qualified accountant or CFA with a minimum of 5 years PQE with experience in financial services, proprietary trading experience preferred
  • Clear understanding of IFPR, IFR/IFD and CRR/CRD
  • Strong financial products knowledge
  • Experience in working with regulatory reporting software and data flows
  • Strong analytical and Excel skills with the ability to work effectively with large data sets to produce high quality reporting
  • Knowledge of industry standards, legislation and regulation relating to prudential and financial risk management
  • Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
