Job summary

A leading aerospace manufacturer is looking for an Entry Level Propulsion Test Engineer based in Stevenage. The successful candidate will perform testing and launch support for spacecraft propulsion systems, requiring mechanical skills and safety awareness. Candidates must have an engineering qualification and the ability to work with high-pressure gases. This full-time role involves 100% shopfloor work with travel requirements at least 2-3 times per year for 4-6 weeks.

Qualifications

• Engineering based HNC/HND or equivalent experience required.
• Must be able to read, understand and follow engineering drawings.
• Experience using hand tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform propulsion test and spacecraft launch services activities.
• Organise equipment logistics for specific projects.
• Support writing of test documentation such as Technical Notes and Test Reports.
