  • Provide administrative support for repairs, fire safety works, and damp & mould cases.
  • Monitor contractor performance and ensure delivery meets agreed specifications.
  • Process works orders from instruction through to completion.
  • Respond to customer enquiries and provide timely updates.
  • Minute operational meetings and record clear actions for governance purposes.
  • Liaise with contractors, internal teams and stakeholders to resolve issues.
  • Maintain accurate records, documentation and data on internal systems.

Property Administrator

Kent • Full Time • Permanent • £28,891 per year

The Role

A great opportunity to join a respected Local Authority as a Property Administrator supporting key housing contracts across Kent. The Property Administrator will support the day-to-day coordination and administration of property-related contracts, ensuring repairs, compliance works and resident enquiries are handled efficiently and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support for repairs, fire safety works, and damp & mould cases
  • Monitor contractor performance and ensure delivery meets agreed specifications
  • Process works orders from instruction through to completion
  • Respond to customer enquiries and provide timely updates

The Candidate

The successful candidate will have previous experience in a similar administrative role within housing, property, construction or contract management.

  • Strong IT skills and high attention to detail
  • Confident communication skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Experience managing a busy workload and prioritising effectively
  • Understanding of property repairs processes and terminology
  • A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
The Contract
  • Working Hours: 37 Hours Per Week, Monday to Friday, 9-5
  • Length of Contract: Permanent Contract
  • Salary: £28,891.00 per year, plus benefits (including generous annual leave, pension scheme, health cash plan, wellbeing grant, and hybrid working arrangements)
