A leading health organization in Wales is seeking a Project Support Manager for a fixed-term role of 2 years. The successful candidate will support various research projects, particularly those involving NHS Research Approvals. Applicants should possess relevant NHS governance experience and a degree or equivalent experience. Key responsibilities include managing operations, reporting data, and supporting research delivery. This role offers a salary of £31,516 to £38,364 annually based on experience and comes with full-time hours.

The National Imaging Academy Wales (NIAW) sets up and acts as a site for numerous research projects. The Project Support Manager will aid with the initiation, management, and reporting of a variety of projects across Imaging in Wales.
A large proportion of projects involve NHS Research Approvals and applicants should have proven experience in NHS Research Governance with a sound knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP), the UK Policy for Health and Social Care Research, HRA and HCRW Approval and the Research Ethics Service.
Welsh language skills (Level 3 and above/B2) are desirable. This does not mean essential; it is an advantage when short‑listing and selecting candidates. Level 3 means basic conversations with patients about their everyday health.
