Overall purpose is to engage proactively across all departments within the business to ensure the consistent and effective operations processes are implemented.

  • Ensure effective coordination between customers, suppliers, drivers, engineers, and internal teams
  • Act as a key point of contact to resolve operational issues and challenges quickly and effectively
  • Ensure all parties are informed of requirements, timelines, and responsibilities
  • Oversee servicing, inspections, maintenance, and compliance of all machinery
  • Ensure servicing schedules are planned, monitored, and adhered to
  • Identify and address risks related to equipment availability, safety, or downtime
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with suppliers and subcontractors
  • Support customer queries, issues, and escalations in a professional and timely manner
  • Ensure service delivery meets agreed standards and contractual requirements
  • Identify errors, inefficiencies, or weaknesses in existing processes
  • Investigate root causes of operational issues and implement corrective actions
  • Develop and introduce improvements to systems, workflows, and communication methods
  • Support the implementation of new processes, tools, or ways of working
  • Ensure clear communication across teams so everyone understands what is required and when
  • Monitor workloads, schedules, and priorities to avoid conflicts or delays
  • Maintain accurate operational records, reports, and documentation
  • Ensure operations comply with company policies, health & safety standards, and industry regulations

Profile
  • Previous experience in a project support or administrative role within the industrial/manufacturing sector.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in using project management software and tools, SAP and Excel.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A detail‑oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
