Job summary

A leading defence consultancy is seeking a Project Planner to support a high-profile defence project in Corsham. Candidates must have SC clearance and experience in project planning within defence or government sectors. This is a six-month contract with a daily rate of £500 to £590, working on-site three days a week.

FryerMiles are delighted to working with a leading defence consultancy on the recruitment of a SC Cleared Planner to support a high-profile defence project. You will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimising project schedules, ensuring effective planning and coordination across teams in a secure environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage project schedules using industry-standard tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
• Track project progress, identifying risks and potential delays.
• Work closely with project managers, risk leads, and stakeholders to ensure alignment on timelines and deliverables.
• Provide regular reporting and analysis to support decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with MoD and government project controls frameworks.

Required Skills & Experience

SC clearance

• Strong experience in project planning and scheduling within defence, security, or government sectors.
• Proficiency in scheduling tools such as Primavera P6 and MS Project.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Previous experience working in a consultancy or client-facing environment is desirable.
