Job Advertisement: Construction Project Manager (Temporary) | Location: Croydon, London | Contract Length: 4 months (likely extension) | Daily Rate: £300 - £375 per day Umbrella (Inside IR35) | Work Schedule: The first 2-3 weeks will require you to work in the office full-time (5 days a week). Following this period, you may enjoy a flexible schedule with the option to work from home 2 days per week.

Role Purpose: As a Construction Project Manager, you will prepare and oversee construction projects for delivery on-site. You will play a pivotal role in managing special projects that require careful planning, design, and execution.

Responsibilities

• Project Preparation: Scope, design, and tender special projects as standalone initiatives.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all work adheres to regulations from the Building Safety Regulator and obtain necessary planning consents.
• Planning for the Future: Manage projects that span multiple years, ensuring long lead times and planning stages are accounted for.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with the home ownership section for leaseholder consultations and work with planning and building control teams for timely consent applications.
• Resource Management: Plan and organise pre-construction stages, identifying clear milestones and resource requirements.
• Supply Chain Coordination: Work closely with procurement colleagues to establish a robust supply chain, actively participating in planning and evaluating tenders.
• Efficient Handover: Package work effectively for the Capital Delivery team, ensuring projects can commence on-site without delay.
