About the role

As our NPD Project Manager, you will be accountable for driving the critical path for new product development while leading broader product team projects. Working in a fast paced environment with high expectations, we are looking for a passionate Planning / Project Manager to lead the development and introduction of new products and product upgrades from concept through to market by utilising strong project management skills.

This role is integral in ensuring that product launches are seamless, deadlines are met, and cross-functional teams are aligned. You'll work closely with design, buying, merchandising, Marketing / brand, operations, and suppliers to bring our stunning product collections to market.

Key Responsibilities

New Product Development (NPD) & Critical Path Management

  • Own and manage the full NPD critical path, ensuring all key milestones – from ideation to launch – are met on time.
  • Facilitate key cross functional meetings relating to NPD, aligning team resources and dependencies to deliver the Product Roadmap.
  • Manage all key stakeholders involved in NPD to deliverables
  • Define and refine product briefs, ensuring they meet business objectives, brand standards, and consumer preferences
  • Proactively identify, track, and mitigate risks that could affect product launches, such as delayed samples from suppliers. Develop and implement solutions, communicating all updates to relevant stakeholders.
  • Maintain Critical Path actions within relevant Project Management tools (currently Asana), ensuring all administrative elements are kept up to date
  • Ensure product data, commercials, E-com and Operations set-up are finalised ahead of launch.
  • Work with the Marketing and E-com teams to align launch strategies and go-to-market plans meticulously tracking all deadlines.
  • Provide support to the Head of Business Operations in managing company-wide critical paths.
  • Responsible for Asana onboarding and utilisation within the Product, Buying, and Design teams.

Wider Product Projects & Strategic Planning

  • Lead cross-functional product initiatives including, for example, packaging innovations, sustainability projects, and process improvements.
  • Develop and refine the Critical Path framework to drive efficiency in product development.
  • Work closely with wider teams, including Operations and Marketing teams, to improve agility and speed to market
  • Collaborate with the Head of Business Operations to ensure all team-led calls have accurate and current agendas, enabling teams to be properly informed.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor launches to help inform product strategy and Innovation.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in New Product Development/Project Management within fast paced consumer goods (bonus points for within a scaling ecommerce brand)
  • You may have prior experience within Jewellery or Lifestyle Accessories - which is not a must but would be a huge advantage
  • Affinity with project management tools (Asana but not essential)
  • Exposure to and understanding of project management frameworks (notably Agile and Critical Path)
  • You have a “hands on” disposition and will get stuck in on all elements of Project
  • Management, personally understanding the current challenges and requirements of
  • each department to deliver successful launches You have a proven track-record of cross functional collaboration and influencing business partners
  • You are an exceptional communicator with strong written, verbal and presentation skills, and the ability to convey effectively complex data and processes to diverse audiences.
  • You have strong interpersonal skills, with a hunger for learning and development; a team player with a positive attitude.
  • You can effectively prioritise and manage resources to achieve maximum results, demonstrating exceptional attention to detail.
  • You thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment with other colleagues who are also motivated and collaborative
