Job description

We are a successful, diverse and well-established events and media production company located in the beautiful surroundings of Abney Park, Cheadle. We specialise in the production of global events - live events, congresses and exhibitions - and creating exciting and innovative digital media within the healthcare industry.

We are now seeking an experienced events and exhibition Project Manager to join one of our busy project teams. This role is a fixed-term contract to cover a period of maternity leave for up to 12 months, however there may well be further opportunities within the business afterwards.

Requirements

Your main responsibilities will be to deliver and manage all aspects of an event or media project. This could be a live, virtual or hybrid meeting, or an exhibition stand as part of a wider medical congress. From brief to delivery, you would be the main point of contact with clients so will require strong interpersonal skills. You will also be required to lead conversations with suppliers, other agencies and third parties on a day-to-day basis. You should have strong organisational skills and be able to plan and track the project throughout, whilst also working with colleagues to ensure the full team are keeping to project timings and deadlines. You will also have budget responsibility and should be able to demonstrate your experience within this area.

Flexibility and a willingness to travel is a must, as our events take us all over the globe!

Experience gained within an events agency is essential and some understanding of the technical production involved would be advantageous.

Benefits

As well as a great benefits package, we offer the opportunity to work from home for part of the week, and when you are in the office you'll find yourself within half a stately home set in acres of parkland, perfect for a bit of wild-life spotting during a stroll to the local high street for lunch!

Please apply with a CV and covering letter stating approximate salary expectations if you wish to be considered. We look forward to hearing from you!
