Overview

Project Manager - Build to Rent (BTR) | Birmingham City Centre | Permanent | £50m Project | Tier 1 Contractor

Start: November 2025 | Completion: July 2027

The Project

10-storey BTR development in the heart of Birmingham. Traditional hand-laid brick façade delivering a high-quality architectural finish. Incorporation of pod bathrooms to streamline programme delivery. Full lifecycle project delivery from November 2025 through to completion in July 2027.

The Role

As Project Manager, you will take full responsibility for leading the project on site, overseeing delivery from inception through to completion. You will manage all aspects of programme, cost, quality, safety, and client relations, working closely with senior management and leading the site team to ensure successful handover.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of a complex £50m BTR scheme as the No.1 on site.
• Manage programme, budgets, and reporting to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Oversee subcontractors, supply chain, and internal teams.
• Ensure strict compliance with health & safety standards.
• Maintain excellent client relationships throughout project delivery.
• Drive quality standards, particularly in relation to the hand-laid brick façade and internal finishes.

About You

• Experienced Project Manager, ideally with Tier 1 main contractor experience.
• Track record of delivering RC frame mixed-use, residential, or BTR projects of similar scale and complexity.
• Strong technical knowledge of façade delivery, particularly traditional brickwork.
• Excellent leadership, organisation, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage projects through to successful completion.
