Job summary

A defence sector specialist company is seeking an experienced Project Manager for a fixed-term contract from 12 January to 11 April. In this remote position, the Project Manager will oversee project delivery, manage subcontractor work packages, and ensure compliance with all milestones and quality requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong organisational skills, experience in technical environments, and a project management qualification. Regular travel to the island is expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in project management roles.
• Experience managing subcontractor deliverables and compliance.
• Proven ability to work in regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage project plans, schedules and resources.
• Lead customer communication and project reviews.
• Manage subcontractor deliverables.
• Maintain RAID logs and drive mitigations.

Project Manager – Fixed Term Contract

• Location : Remote + regular island travel (expensed)
• Contract : 12 Jan – 11 Apr
• Annual Salary Equivalent : £50,000 – £55,000
• Hours : 37.5 per week

We’re looking for a Project Manager to support defence‑sector programmes on a short‑term contract. You’ll lead project delivery, manage subcontractor work packages and ensure all milestones, quality and compliance requirements are met. Remote role with required travel to the island.
