Job description

The Project Manager will lead the design, development and delivery of innovative primary care services, ensuring alignment with commissioning priorities, PCN contractual requirements and the K2 business plan. The role includes responsibility for service design, business case development, project delivery and operational support, ensuring performance targets are met and that change is embedded and sustainable. The following details common key activities that the Project Manager will complete within the responsibilities of their role. This is not intended to be an exhaustive list but is intended to help support and guide work.

Qualifications
  • Educated to degree level in healthcare or business or evidence of equivalent level of knowledge and experience working at a senior level.
  • Good standard of education with excellent literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Leadership and / or Management Qualification or ability to demonstrate successful track record of leading and managing successful high performing teams and services.
  • Experience of successfully developing and implementing projects.
  • Experience designing new services, processes.
  • Experience of chairing meetings, workshops.
  • Experience of writing Business Cases.
  • Experience of workforce planning, forecasting and development.
