Key Responsibilities

You’ll lead and influence work that protects infrastructure, stabilises landscapes and enables access where others can’t:

  • Manage multiple projects concurrently, ranging from reactive work to schemes £3m+
  • Plan, cost and programme works, producing accurate budgets and tracking financials throughout delivery
  • Liaise confidently with clients, suppliers and internal teams — ensuring seamless communication and clear expectations
  • Oversee site-based delivery teams and supervisors, ensuring safe, compliant and high-quality execution
  • Support business development and bid preparation where required
  • Maintain core commercial control — risks, variations, reporting & forecasting
  • Drive efficiency, collaboration and continuous improvement across every project phase
’s In It for You
  • Projects with impact – landslip stabilisation, rockfall prevention, rail infrastructure, and hard-to-reach environments
  • Career progression – grow as the company enters new markets and step into senior roles as capability expands
  • Shape the future – influence innovation, new service streams and emerging sectors including water infrastructure
  • Training & development – access industry-leading rope access, geotechnical and safety training
  • Supportive culture – work with teams where commercial delivery and technical excellence go hand in hand
Candidate Profile
  • Proven project management experience across civils, geotechnical, infrastructure or rope access environments (essential)
  • Ability to price work, manage budgets and track project margins (essential)
  • Confidence visiting site, managing crews and checking progress on the ground as well as remotely (essential)
  • Strong commercial awareness with the ability to juggle multiple live workstreams (essential)
  • Background in rope access or geotechnical works (desirable)
  • Experience in related markets — e.g. rail, construction, water — to help diversify and innovate (desirable)
