Responsibilities

• Planning : Develop and maintain detailed project plans, ensuring alignment with overall programme objectives.
• RAID Management : Identify, manage, and mitigate Risks, Assumptions, Issues, and Dependencies.
• Finance Management : Monitor project budgets, ensuring cost-effective delivery.
• Reporting : Provide regular status updates to stakeholders, highlighting progress, risks, and issues.
• Quality Management : Ensure all deliverables meet the required quality standards

Qualifications

• Desirable Certifications : MAPM, Scrum Master, PMP, Prince2

Essential skills

• Strong understanding of the systems development lifecycle.
• The ability to understand and lead the construction of system & data integrations
• Excellent client-facing skills
• Ability to think logically and use own initiative as well as mine in-house and supplier IP to build on your knowledge base with regards to the industry and the project / programme.
• Able to apply project management disciplines such as stakeholder identification and management, supplier management, risk and issue logs, decision logs
• Strong understanding of Waterfall methodologies
• Strong understanding of Agile (Kanban & Scrum)
• Experience of working with Programme and Project managers in large deployments
• People management skills – the ability to lead and focus teams in complex projects
• Strong self-management – continuous performance is both an objective and a mind-set

Experience

• Experience in data migration from legacy systems to new, including culling of non-essential data and consideration of parallel runs (test environment / production) and multi-wave implementation to production.
• Experience of leading large-scale projects with multiple sub-projects and inter-dependencies.
• Supplier Management – managing external suppliers to ensure that the scope of work is delivered within time, cost and quality constraints.
• Change Management in terms of processes and procedures, organisational change, training and documentation.
• Comfortable working within a hybrid Waterfall / Agile framework

What do I need before I apply

• The expectation is that you will be able to work on client site in Buckinghamshire 1-2 days per week or as the programme requires.
• Fluency in English is required to effectively communicate with clients.
