At Austin Heating & Cooling we've been building trusted relationships and delivering high-quality commercial heating solutions for decades. Now, we're looking for a skilled and motivated Project Manager to help drive the next stage of our growth within Norfolk and Suffolk and the wider area.

About the Role

Reporting directly to the Branch Manager, you'll play a key role in supporting our sales and management teams to deliver on our development strategy. You'll act as our technical sales presence in the region – generating new business, designing commercial heating systems, nurturing existing client relationships, and ensuring projects run smoothly from enquiry to completion.

Day-to-day work will include:
  • Developing new and existing business sales opportunities across installation, service, and maintenance agreements
  • Building strong customer relationships, advising on system design, and selecting the right equipment for their needs
  • Managing the full project lifecycle – from initial enquiry, thorough design stages thorough to final handover
  • Coordinating with engineers, sub-contractors, and colleagues to ensure efficient, high-quality delivery
  • Monitoring quality, profitability, and customer satisfaction at every stage
What We're Looking For
  • Hands‑on experience in commercial gas and heating disciplines holding relevant tickets
  • Experience in a technical sales role or similar position within the sector.
  • A flexible, self‑motivated approach and a genuine passion for customer satisfaction
  • Proven sales and project management experience
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build trusted business relationships at all levels
  • Excellent technical knowledge of Natural Gas, LPG, Oil and Renewables.
  • Competent IT skills (Mac and PC – Word, Excel); CAD experience is a bonus
  • A solid understanding of Health & Safety within the construction industry
  • Strong time management and multitasking abilitiesA full, clean UK driving licence
