About the Role

As a Project Manager at PayTech you will play a key role in delivering projects for our clients in the financial services sector. You will help translate business objectives into operational outcomes drive digital transformation and ensure projects are delivered efficiently and effectively. This is a client-facing role requiring strong organisational skills stakeholder management and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end delivery of projects ensuring alignment with business objectives and client expectations.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders including cross-functional teams.
• Coordinate the implementation of new requirements through to acceptance rollout and ongoing support including technical legal compliance / risk and financial workstreams.
• Identify and address project risks ensuring compliance with financial regulations and internal controls throughout the project lifecycle.
• Plan estimate and track project budgets timelines and deliverables.
• Define and monitor project KPIs ensuring delivery within scope time and budget.
• Conduct post-implementation reviews to capture lessons learned and support continuous improvement.
• Support digital transformation initiatives and leverage agile methodologies (e.g. Disciplined Agile) to deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
• Drive issue resolution enable transparent reporting and manage escalations as needed.
• Facilitate governance sessions and ensure adherence to established processes and best practices.
• Promote PayTechs core values by delivering exceptional client outcomes and supporting a culture of continuous improvement.
• Be comfortable working with ambiguity and eliciting clear client requirements.
• Experience in working on projects with no dedicated delivery teams.

What We're Looking For

• Experience managing projects preferably in financial services payments or fintech.
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously on complex topics.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to work effectively at all levels.
• Highly organized with experience in various project methodologies and tools (e.g. JIRA MS Project Disciplined Agile).
• Demonstrated ability to deliver projects to completion while managing competing priorities.
• Bachelors degree or equivalent experience required.

Desirable

• Experience in regulated environments or with payments solutions.
• Track record of delivering measurable business impact through project KPIs and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Knowledge of risk management regulatory compliance and financial controls.
• PMP Prince2 or Agile Project Management certification preferred
