The Role

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead and deliver high‑value life sciences projects. You will manage multidisciplinary teams, drive quality, safety, cost and schedule performance, and act as the key interface with clients and stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead end‑to‑end delivery of complex projects, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, schedule, and budget
  • Act as primary client and stakeholder interface
  • Implement project controls, reporting and QA systems
  • Manage scope, programme, cost, risk, and change control
  • Prepare and maintain key project deliverables (plans, reports, risk assessments)
  • Chair and contribute to project reviews (cost, quality, risk, H&S)
  • Support business development and tender responses
  • Mentor and develop project team members
Experience & Skills
  • Proven project management experience in the pharmaceutical / life sciences sector
  • Strong knowledge of health & safety, quality systems, and contractual processes
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder skills
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
  • Commercial awareness with strong organisational skills
Qualifications
  • Relevant project management qualification
  • Degree/masters in relevant field or other relevant qualification plus experience
  • Membership of relevant professional body and chartered or actively working towards chartership or similar accreditation
  • Wide experience as Project Manager using recognised project management principles and practice in a technology design and construction contracting environment, preferably within the pharmaceutical and life sciences sector, across a range of project values from small works up to £25m capital value
