In this position, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that projects are completed both promptly and to the highest quality standards. You will be expected to work diligently in alignment with contract deliverables, detailed specifications, and the specific requirements of our clients. Your core responsibility will be leading on projects for a prestigious client in the Defence sector.

Your core responsibilities will include:
  • Supporting to agree the client’s brief from inception in conjunction with any other consultants appointed, and arranging for the appointment of other consultants as necessary.
  • Coordinating, managing and communicating with the client, project stakeholders and other consultants appointed to meet requirements of the project.
  • Preparation of programmes and undertaking programme management.
  • Undertaking change management, co-ordinating the design process, overseeing and managing the control of the project both pre- and post-contract including financial expenditure throughout all RIBA stages.
  • Preparing and issuing reports, including but not limited to preparation of Project Execution Plans (PEP), Strategy Reports, Risk Registers, Progress Reports etc.

Please note you must be willing and able to obtain and maintain the necessary security clearance for the role due to the nature of the projects you will be working on.

About You

Our ideal Project Manager will have:

  • Experience in a similar role in the construction environment.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of building technology and construction principles.
  • Excellent communication, client facing, and presentation skills.
  • An understanding of NEC project management principles, including experience in managing design and construction contracts.
  • A proven ability to manage projects from concept to implementation, overseeing activities as well as others to ensure time, budget, and quality constraints are met.
  • Eligibility to obtain, or existing possession of SC level Security Clearance is required to fulfill the duties of this role (must be a UK Sole National)
