Job Title: Project Manager

Salary: Up to £75,000 + package OR competitive day rate

Overview

A well-established Scottish civil engineering contractor with a rapidly growing workload is recruiting a Project Manager to join their expanding team in Aberdeen. With a strong order book secured for 2026, this company offers long-term stability, a mature environment and a close-knit, family-oriented culture.

They specialise in a wide variety of civil engineering schemes, including: structures, earthworks, road construction, drainage, sewers, and general infrastructure.

Role Responsibilities
  • Lead civil engineering projects from planning through delivery.
  • Manage site teams, subcontractors and engineering personnel.
  • Ensure programme milestones, cost controls and quality standards are achieved.
  • Uphold high levels of safety and compliance on all projects.
  • Work with commercial teams to monitor costs and variations.
  • Liaise with clients, local authorities, designers and internal stakeholders.
  • Produce progress reports, risk assessments and project documentation.
Requirements
  • Strong background in civil engineering project management.
  • Experience delivering earthworks, structures, drainage, roads or infrastructure projects.
  • Solid working knowledge of NEC contracts (essential).
  • Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to deliver multiple projects to deadlines.
  • Based in or able to commute to Aberdeen.
