Our engineering clients based close to Winchester have an exciting opportunity for a Project Lead to join their growing team.

We are seeking a proactive and detail‑oriented Project Engineer to lead and manage Engineering projects from concept through to completion. This role requires strong project ownership, technical acumen, and cross‑functional collaboration to ensure successful delivery of projects on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards.

Duties & Responsibilities

Project Management

• Lead manufacturing projects from initial concept through design, development, tooling, production, and delivery phases.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including milestones and budgets, in line with the resource allocation plan.

Budget & Cost Control

• Prepare and manage project budgets, track costs throughout the project lifecycle, and ensure financial targets are met.
• Compile costings using standard Excel‑based models and update them as the project evolves.

Timescale & Delivery

• Work to tight, customer‑driven deadlines using APQP‑based systems and internal stage‑gate processes.
