A leading manufacturing recruitment agency is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to design and manage recycling machinery projects. The role involves creating detailed designs using SolidWorks, managing all phases from concept to installation, and ensuring compliance with specifications. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in machinery design, excellent project management skills, and proficiency in 2D & 3D draughting. This position offers opportunities for immediate interviews and a potential start in December/January.
GBR Recruitment Ltd are proud to be working in partnership with a leading Recycling / Material Handling machinery manufacturing business based in Northamptonshire, recruiting for an experienced Project Engineer / Project Design Engineer who is highly proficient in using SolidWorks & AutoCAD design software.
As the Project Engineer you will be strong in designing sheet metal fabricated parts & large structural components for large scale machinery (cutting, bending, moulding, forming & assembling processes), plus with strong knowledge of weldments & designing high capital machinery solutions within automated MHE conveyor systems / recycling systems (compactors, balers, tippers, feeders etc.).
If you are keen to lead & project manage the design, manufacturing & installation of high capital specialist machinery & if you possess strong detailing of fabricated products experience, along with 2D & 3D draughting using SolidWorks 3D design software. Then this could be the ideal project engineering role for you.
The position is commutable from Northampton, Kettering, Corby, Burton Latimer, Rushden, Thrapston, Wellingborough, Raunds, Rushton, Rothwell, Desborough, Uppingham, Market Harborough, Leicester, Milton Keynes, Bedford, Stamford, Oakham, those looking to relocate to these areas would also be considered.
Interviews are to take place immediately, with the potential of a December / January start for the right design talent.
