Project Engineer - Manufacturing Design – Implantable Medical Devices - Cambridge

An exciting opportunity awaits you to join a rapidly growing Medical Devices division and contribute to the development of innovative Implantable Medical Technologies. We are seeking a Senior or Principal Project Engineer with experience as a Manufacturing Engineer, specifically in designing production and manufacturing systems within the Medical Devices, Biotechnology, or Sciences industries.

Ideal candidates will have a degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Process Engineering, along with manufacturing or process engineering experience in 3D CAD design and maintaining production machinery.

You will support design teams across multiple functions, focusing on Design for Manufacturing (DFM). Responsibilities include building prototypes, testing new rigs to ensure device functionality, and ensuring manufacturing efficiency. Supply Chain experience is highly advantageous.

This role involves designing, building, and testing systems, as well as maintaining production machinery. As the team expands, this position offers excellent opportunities for career growth.

You will lead various projects and collaborate effectively within teams, depending on project requirements.

Knowledge of ISO 13485, QMS, and GMP is expected due to collaboration with other Medical Devices divisions.
