We are specifically looking for a Civil Project Engineer to join our operations team in Perth who have experience with the following:

• Trenches
• Shafts
• Concrete structures
• Civil structures
• Infrastructure
• Water, wastewater and stormwater Pipeline construction

About the role:

• Coordinating and administering construction engineering activities
• Ensuring projects are implemented in accordance with plans, designs and specifications
• Assisting the Construction Manager and Site Supervisor to develop daily programmes
• Ensuring compliance with client requirements and company policies and procedures
• Procuring required materials and equipment for the project
• Monitoring construction progress to ensure quality specifications are adhered to
• Assisting with contractual claims (variations, extensions of time)
• Contributing to monthly project reporting

The successful applicant must have the following skills and experience:

• Experience working with a blue‑collar work force
• Experience delivering construction projects
• Exposure to preparation of contractual claims and variations
• Ideally micro‑tunneling experience (but not essential)
• Bachelor of Engineering or its equivalent
• Experience working on water and/or wastewater projects
• Strong leadership skills
• Demonstrable experience leading and managing safety and environment controls; and
• Strong written and oral communication skills with experience compiling reports and liaising with stakeholders.
• Knowledge of head and subcontract agreements
