Nicholas Associates are working with a leading civil engineering contractor who provide groundworks, infrastructure, roads & sewers services to Top 100 House Builders across the UK. The company are recruiting a Project Engineer to manage large-scale infrastructure / 278 Works project in the West Midlands.

Key Responsibilities
  • Attending programme meetings
  • Liaising with Local Authorities and Highways Agency to sign off 278 work agreements
  • Setting out roads, infrastructure, 278 Works
  • Supervising Junior Site Engineers
  • QA checks and maintaining accurate site records
  • Interpreting technical drawings and specifications
  • Liaising with project managers, clients, and design teams
  • Ensuring health and safety standards are met across the site
Requirements
  • BSc or HNC in Civil Engineering (not essential)
  • Previous experience on residential groundworks, infrastructure, 278 Works projects
  • Proficient with setting out equipment
  • Leica machine control experience and creating models
  • Proficient in CAD software (not essential)
  • Full UK driving licence
