National Grid is hiring a Project Director - We are recruiting for 3 vacancies, with positions based in the North Region, Midlands and London. This role offers hybrid working, allowing you to split your time between the office and home though you will be required to travel within the UK depending on the project.

In order to make the transition to clean energy we need the right people to help. We're looking for a Project Director to lead a team and manage the planning and delivery of construction projects.
This is a job for someone who likes fast-paced environments and is excited by the challenge of delivering major infrastructure work within short timescales and a complex system. Someone who wants to make a difference to Net Zero.
As a leader you will be dealing with the multidisciplinary aspects of our transformational projects. One day you might be dealing with a needs case for an early-stage project, the next resolving a procurement or contract issue on a project in delivery, the following day working on a leadership issue such as talent development.
You will also be involved in land issues, stakeholder management, briefing local authorities or government bodies, negotiating with Ofgem or suppliers, making sure the scope of a project is right, and managing risk, financing and scheduling. You'll be working in a trusting ,highly collaborative and safe environment. Financial Control - Experience Required
A competitive salary - dependent on capability.
As well as your base salary, you will receive a company car or allowance, a bonus of up to 40% of your salary for stretch performance, and a competitive contributory pension scheme where we will double match your contribution to a maximum company contribution of 12%. You will also have access to a number of flexible benefits such as a share incentive plan, a salary sacrifice technology scheme, support via the employee assistance line, and matched charity giving to name a few.
