  • Ensure delivery of products/services on time and within budget.
  • Manage third-party contributions and stakeholder communications.
  • Manage Risks, Assumptions, Issues, and Dependencies throughout the project.
  • Report project progress to governance bodies at regular intervals.

ROLE PURPOSE:

Project Coordinators within the CDW Project Management team are responsible for delivering a quality and professional project delivery service to internal and external clients in order to support the winning of new business and the delivery of work packages / small projects. Responsible for ensuring that assigned projects or activities are executed and completed adhering agreed time quality scope and costs parameters and that an appropriate level of governance is applied to maintain and manage risks changes and issues.

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE:

Success in the Project Coordinator position is defined by the ability to consistently deliver high-quality project services to both internal and external clients. This entails meeting or exceeding a target of 70% customer chargeable work demonstrating ambition credibility and motivation and taking ownership of allocated activities while working collaboratively within a team. The successful individual will be detail-oriented adept at managing their time and capable of juggling multiple initiatives dynamically prioritising tasks as business needs evolve.

Building meaningful and lasting relationships is key with the ability to win hearts and minds through confident yet humble interactions.

Ongoing personal development is also a hallmark of success with the commitment to allocate time for training certification and soft-skill growth. Ultimately the successful Project Coordinator supports the winning of new business and the delivery of projects within agreed time quality scope and cost parameters applying appropriate governance and proactively managing risks changes and issues to achieve positive outcomes.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Manage the allocated CDW delivery by following documented delivery approval and acceptance processes
  • Managing and/or reporting on the projects budget expenditure and costs against delivered components and outcomes as the project progresses (as required)
  • Planning the project and actively monitoring its progress resolving issues and initiating appropriate corrective action (seeking advice or guidance as appropriate)
  • Working with the Resource Management team to facilitate the appointment of individuals to project teams
  • Ensuring the delivery of new products or services from projects is to the appropriate level of quality on time and within budget in accordance with the project plan and project governance arrangements
  • Managing third party contributions to the project (as required) Managing communications with project stakeholders (as required)
  • Managing Risks Assumptions Issues and Dependencies to the projects successful outcome (as required)
  • Reporting the progress of the project at regular intervals to the appropriate governance bodies both internally and externally
  • As required managing the project scope risks assumptions and issues throughout project lifecycle escalating and highlighting to relevant parties for resolution as necessary.
  • Engage with account/sales managers & directors consultants to support in the planning of the implementation and delivery of client projects. The above is not an exhaustive list of duties and you will be expected to perform different tasks as necessitated by your changing role within the organisation and the overall business objectives of the organisation.
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Prince 2 Foundation or equivalent experience (e.g. APMQ PMP)
