Job summary

Serco Limited in Newport is seeking a Specialist Progression Coach to support participants with long-term health conditions and disabilities in building confidence and gaining sustainable employment. You will deliver personalised coaching, assessments, and tailored action plans across a field-based role with hybrid on-site and remote working.

You will manage caseloads, provide CV and interview coaching, and connect participants to health, wellbeing, training, and employer opportunities.

Qualifications

Experience coaching, motivating, or supporting individuals to achieve positive outcomes.
Understanding challenges faced by people with disabilities or long-term health conditions.
Ability to build trust quickly and work independently.

Responsibilities

Manage a caseload of participants with tailored coaching throughout their employment journey.
Complete holistic needs assessments and develop personalised action plans.
Identify barriers to employment and connect participants with health, wellbeing, training and support services.
Deliver one-to-one employability coaching, including CV help, job searching, and interview prep.
Build relationships with local employers to identify inclusive opportunities.
Promote health and wellbeing while delivering services to contract standards.
