Job summary

Serco Limited in Aberystwyth is seeking a Specialist Progression Coach to support unemployed participants with long-term health conditions, disabilities, or mental health challenges. You’ll deliver person-centred coaching, develop employability plans, and help individuals rebuild confidence to move toward sustainable work.

This field-based role is a 15-month fixed-term contract offering hybrid working, opportunities for development, and a chance to create meaningful impact in local communities

Qualifications

Coaching or mentoring individuals to achieve positive outcomes.
Experience supporting people with health or disability barriers.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

Manage a caseload of participants with tailored coaching.
Conduct holistic needs assessments and create action plans.
Identify barriers and connect to health, wellbeing and training services.
Deliver one-to-one employability coaching including CV and interview prep.
Build relationships with local employers to explore inclusive roles.
Ensure services meet contract requirements and quality standards.
