Job summary

Serco Limited in Swansea is seeking a Specialist Progression Coach for a 15-month fixed-term contract. The role is full-time, with a field-based remit and a mix of remote and on-site work.

Salary is £31,000–£32,000 plus excellent benefits. You will support unemployed participants with long-term health conditions, disabilities, or mental health challenges to overcome barriers to employment and progress toward sustainable work.

Qualifications

• Coaching or mentoring experience with individuals facing barriers to employment.
• Ability to manage a varied caseload and work independently.
• Full UK Driving Licence and own vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of participants, providing tailored coaching and support throughout their employment journey.
• Complete holistic needs assessments and develop personalised action plans.
• Identify barriers to employment and connect participants with appropriate health, wellbeing, training, and specialist support services.
• Deliver one-to-one employability coaching, including CV support, job searching, interview preparation, and confidence-building activities.
• Build relationships with local employers to identify inclusive employment opportunities and support participants into suitable roles.
