Job summary

Serco Limited in Wrexham is seeking a Specialist Progression Coach to support unemployed participants with long-term health conditions, disabilities, or mental health conditions in overcoming barriers to employment and moving toward sustainable work.

You will manage a caseload, conduct holistic needs assessments, connect participants to health and training services, and deliver one-to-one employability coaching.

Qualifications

• Experience coaching or supporting individuals to achieve positive outcomes.
• Understanding challenges faced by people with disabilities or long-term health conditions when seeking employment.
• Ability to build trust quickly and establish effective relationships with participants, employers and partners.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of participants with tailored coaching throughout their employment journey.
• Complete holistic needs assessments and develop personalised action plans.
• Identify barriers to employment and connect participants with support services.
• Deliver one-to-one employability coaching including CV support and interview prep.
• Build relationships with local employers to identify inclusive opportunities.
• Promote health and wellbeing while meeting contract requirements and quality standards.
