Job summary

Serco is seeking a Specialist Progression Coach to support unemployed people with long-term health conditions, disabilities, or mental health needs. Based across Black Country areas, you will deliver personalised coaching and build strong relationships with participants, employers, and partners to unlock sustainable employment opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience coaching or supporting individuals to achieve positive outcomes.
• Ability to build trust and develop relationships with participants, employers, colleagues, and partners.
• Strong organisational skills with ability to manage a varied caseload and work independently.
• Excellent communication and genuine passion for helping people gain sustainable employment.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of participants with tailored coaching and support.
• Complete holistic needs assessments and develop personalised support plans.
• Identify barriers to employment and connect participants with health, wellbeing, training, and specialist support services.
• Deliver one-to-one coaching, including CV support, job searching, and interview preparation.
• Build relationships with local employers to identify inclusive employment opportunities.
• Promote health and wellbeing outcomes while meeting contract requirements and quality standards.
