Qualifications

  • Diploma in Education & Training (or equivalent), A Level standard or equivalent, and 5 GCSEs grade A‑C including English and Maths.
  • Clear understanding of student target setting, monitoring and reviewing for student achievement.
  • Experience using data to inform interventions and commitment to safeguarding young people.

Progress Coach – Warrington & Vale Royal College

Warrington & Vale Royal College is seeking a full‑time Progress Coach to facilitate individual learner achievement, respond to learner needs and empower students to take responsibility for their own learning. The successful candidate will manage their own caseload of students and work collaboratively across the college to provide consistent, high levels of pastoral and academic support.

Initial hourly paid, fixed‑term until July 2026. Subject to a successful probationary period, it will continue as a permanent, term‑time only post.

Candidate requirements

Suitable candidates will possess or be willing to work towards a Diploma in Education & Training (or equivalent), be educated to A Level standard or equivalent and hold 5 GCSEs grade A‑C or equivalent including English and Maths. Candidates should have a clear understanding of student target setting, monitoring and reviewing to ensure achievement for students, experience using data to inform interventions and a commitment to safeguarding young people and vulnerable adults. An enhanced DBS check/Children’s barred list check is required.
