Job description

Location: London (Hybrid working available, but must be able to regularly attend meetings and events in Westminster), The Programme Manager will oversee the day-to-day delivery of Palace Yard's energy-focused programmes, managing projects from conception to completion and ensuring that events, policy outputs and stakeholder engagement are of the highest quality.

Responsibilities
  • Programme delivery: Lead the planning and execution of Palace Yard's energy and policy programmes, ensuring deadlines are met and outputs delivered to an exceptional standard.
  • Event management: Coordinate parliamentary and stakeholder events – securing venues, confirming speakers, preparing briefing materials, and managing guest lists.
  • Stakeholder engagement: Build and maintain relationships with parliamentarians, industry partners and policy experts, acting as a trusted point of contact.
  • Parliamentary liaison: Monitor activity across Parliament and government, identifying opportunities for engagement and collaboration.
  • Research and communication: Draft briefings, agendas and written content that clearly communicate complex policy issues.
  • Operational support: Ensure systems, timelines and processes run smoothly across multiple concurrent projects. This is an opportunity to be part of a respected Westminster think tank making a tangible impact on public policy. Working closely with a highly experienced team led by Natascha Engel, the Programme Manager will play a central role in shaping conversations that inform decision-making at the highest levels.

  • Energy sector interest: Experience or enthusiasm for energy and infrastructure policy would be an advantage.
