Requirements
The Role

The Programme Manager will lead delivery on complex clients managing multiple concurrent workstreams and cross-functional teams or complex individual projects. They will ensure delivery to time cost and quality while maintaining strong governance and stakeholder engagement. This also includes management of issues risks and project change requests to ensure successful and on-time project delivery. Depending on business need you may be required to take a hands‑on approach to project delivery.

This role is UK based primarily remote working with some travel required to our London Office.

What you will do
  • Lead cross-functional teams across multiple geographies and time zones ensuring alignment and effective delivery
  • Establish and maintain appropriate governance structures and delivery models tailored to client needs.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders fostering long-term strategic partnerships.
  • Collaborate closely with client stakeholders or their System Integrators (SIs) to ensure seamless delivery and integration.
  • Own and manage the delivery P&L ensuring financial targets are met and profitability is maintained
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across programmes to enhance delivery efficiency and client satisfaction.
  • Responsible for ensuring the timely production of client contracts that accurately represent scope of implementation and associated baselined plans
  • Work closely with the sales and accounts teams to provide accurate and timely support of new business or growth opportunities including estimates and scope
  • Coach mentor and motivate Project Teams and Project Managers
  • Adhere to INSTANDAs information security policies guidelines and best practices to protect our company and our clients.
  • Contribute to a culture of security awareness within the company.
What were looking for
  • 8 years of experience in leading complex projects or programmes preferably within the insurance or financial services sector. Proven track record of managing delivery P&L.
  • A Leadership mentality with the ability to grow and develop talent
  • Experience in delivering digital products using Agile methodology
  • Proven ability to build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders.
  • Experienced managing multiple priorities while managing clear communication with all stakeholders
  • Experience in a client facing role demonstrating excellent relationship building skills with a knack to managing difficult messages
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a track record in expressing technical concepts in everyday language
  • Experience of People Management
Nice to have
  • Experience working for a start-up or fast paced technology focused company
  • Experience in migrating books of business / data migration.
  • Prior hands‑on experience with PAS implementations would be highly desirable.
