Production Technician

Our client, a leading pharmaceutical manufacturer, has a vacancy for a Production Technician preferably with a BSc in science.

The main function of a Technician is to prepare and test diagnostic products, reagents and intermediates using SOPs and Production documentation ensuring they meet performance specifications.

  • On Going Temp
  • 40hr week
  • Early/Back shift pattern
  • Monday to Friday
  • £12.90 - £15.30
Production Technician Key Responsibilities
  • Microbiological and cell culture techniques
  • Manufacture and optimization of antibodies
  • Purification and conjugation skills
  • Immunoassay and Agglutination techniques
Production Technician Minimum Qualifications/experience
  • Ability to accurately perform calculations, follow procedures and complete documentation in a methodical manner
  • Experience in a GMP laboratory environment preferable
  • Experience/knowledge of laboratory techniques eg. ELISA, Agglutination, purification and conjugation desirable
  • Minimum requirement Bsc in science related subject
  • Action oriented – you must have energy for a challenge and take opportunities
