Job description

Are you an experienced supervisor within production, manufacturing or engineering? Do you have strong people skills and thrive on developing your staff? If so, this Production Supervisor role could be perfect for you!

The Production Supervisor role is working for a company based in Andover. The role has two shift patterns available. One shift is standard days, Monday - Thursday 8:30am -5pm and an earlier finish of 3:30pm on a Friday. The other shift is a twilight shift pattern, which is 1pm - 11pm, Monday - Thursday.

As Production Supervisor, you'll lead a team on the production floor, ensuring quality, efficiency and output targets are consistently achieved. You'll oversee daily operations, manage workloads and support your team's development through training, performance reviews and coaching. Working closely with the Production Manager, Coordinator and wider Engineering and Quality teams, you'll help drive process improvements, resolve production issues and maintain high standards of safety, cleanliness, and compliance. You'll also play a hands‑on role in production where needed, taking ownership of performance metrics, productivity and team engagement to deliver excellent results.

You will need:

• Previous supervisory experience within production, engineering or manufacturing environments
• To be able to develop, coach and mentor individuals within the team
• Any supporting leadership training/qualifications is beneficial
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• To become familiar with company processes and products
