Night Shift Team Manager

Sunday to Thursday 10pm to 6am

Were on the lookout for a passionate and driven Night Shift Team Manager to join our production crew and help us sprinkle some night time sparkle onto our operations.

Responsibilities

People Management

• Lead and supervise a team of production operators, technicians and support staff within the designated area.
• Foster a positive team culture by providing guidance, coaching and performance feedback.
• Oversee training and development to ensure staff are fully trained and compliant with company procedures and the plant is manned correctly to cover absence, holidays, etc.
• Ensure effective communication across shifts and between departments to maintain smooth operations.

Production & Process Management

• Oversee daily production activities ensuring adherence to production schedules and operational targets.
• Identify and resolve operational challenges to minimize downtime and maximize production efficiency.
• Optimize processes for continuous improvement ensuring adherence to production timelines and quality standards.

GMP & Safety Compliance

• Ensure all operations comply with GMP standards, health safety regulations and food safety policies.
• Conduct regular audits and inspections of the production area to ensure cleanliness, safety and quality.

Qualifications

Key Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience in a leadership role within a manufacturing environment preferably in the food or confectionery industry.
• Strong knowledge of GMP, health & safety and food safety regulations.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and lead teams effectively in a fast‑paced production environment.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to drive results against set targets.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster a collaborative work environment.
• Ability to work with cross‑functional teams and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• IT and PC knowledge able to use widespread functions within relevant software.
• Ability to work alone or as part of a team with the ability to work quickly and under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Good understanding of Health and Safety legislation.
• An aptitude to develop new skills.
