An established precision engineering business is seeking a Production Planner to join their Planning team in St. Neots. The role involves managing day-to-day production jobs and ensuring delivery deadlines are met within a high-performing manufacturing environment. Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience in a similar role and strong knowledge of ERP planning tools. The position offers a salary of up to £33,000 and works Monday to Friday.

An established precision engineering business is looking for a Production Planner to join their Planning team. As the Production Planner , you’ll be responsible for capacity planning across a busy engineering manufacturing facility. Working closely with Sales, Manufacturing, Purchasing, and Stores, you’ll ensure delivery deadlines are achievable, and that customer expectations are consistently met. You’ll also play a key role in supporting quality improvement activities, ensuring efficiency and accuracy at every stage of the process.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and manage day-to-day production jobs through the manufacturing facility
• Utilise available plant and resources effectively to maximise efficiency
• Liaise with Sales, Manufacturing, Purchasing, and Stores to meet customer delivery commitments
• Support smooth operation of ERP planning tools across make-to-order and MRP environments

Skills & Experience Required

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar engineering/manufacturing environment
• Strong working knowledge of ERP planning tools in both make-to-order and MRP environments
• Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills
• Proficient in PC systems with good IT skills

This role is working Monday – Friday days paying up to 33k for the right candidate.
