Are you a highly organised and detail orientated Production Planner looking to take the next step in your career?

We are supporting an established and growing business within the food and nutrition sector that is seeking a skilled individual to join their production planning team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role within a company that values efficiency, collaboration and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Planning and scheduling customer orders to make best use of production capacity
  • Managing stock control and ensuring timely allocation of raw materials
  • Preparing batch documentation and overseeing all planning related administration
  • Working closely with Production, Quality and Customer Support teams to ensure targets and timescales are achieved
  • Monitoring daily production and packing schedules to meet customer requirements
  • Identifying and resolving issues within production or documentation processes
  • Supporting warehouse operations, stock takes and cycle counting activities
  • Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within planning and scheduling
The ideal candidate will have:
  • Previous experience within production planning, supply chain or manufacturing administration within food industry or similar industry
  • Strong knowledge of ERP or MRP systems
  • Advanced Excel skills with the ability to analyse and present data clearly
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills
  • High attention to detail and a methodical approach to work
  • A relevant qualification such as a degree or CPIM certification would be advantageous
