Production Planner

Location : Biggin Hill, Kent

Working Pattern : Full time, on site

Overview

We are looking to appoint a proactive and highly organised Production Planner to support our operations at Biggin Hill. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and managing production schedules that meet customer commitments, while ensuring resources are utilised effectively and quality standards are maintained.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and manage production schedules to meet delivery targets.
  • Work closely with internal teams to maintain efficient workflow across departments.
  • Monitor stock levels and amend plans where required.
  • Identify and support continuous improvement initiatives to drive efficiency.
  • Analyse operational data to develop accurate and achievable production plans.
  • Use planning and scheduling systems to track performance and progress.
  • Liaise with the supply chain function to ensure materials are available on time.
  • Maintain quality oversight throughout the production cycle.
Skills & Experience
  • GCSEs (Grade 4 / C or above) in English and Maths as a minimum.
  • A-levels or a relevant vocational qualification.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking capability.
  • High level of accuracy with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Competent user of Microsoft Excel and Word for reporting and data management
