Overview

We are looking for dedicated workers to join our client as an Assembler/Production Worker, where your skills will play a crucial role in the manufacturing of timber fence panels for an industry leader. In this fast-paced environment, you'll be at the heart of production, working with hand tools, power tools, machinery and collaborating with a dedicated team. Your contributions will ensure the products meet the highest quality standards while fostering a culture of safety and efficiency.

What you'll do
  • Assemble wooden fence panels on the assembly line, ensuring precision and quality in every step.
  • Operate bespoke machines, hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete assembly tasks.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines while maintaining a positive work atmosphere.
  • Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet specifications and standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Basic qualifications
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or factory environment is essential.
  • Familiarity with assembly line processes and techniques is highly desirable.
  • Positive attitude and work ethic with the ability to work within a team and on own initiative is a must.
  • Manual handling experience and the ability to work in a physically demanding role is essential.
Preferred qualifications
  • Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in assembly tasks.
  • Basic machine operating experience
  • Warehouse experience that demonstrates your ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment.
Working Hours / Pay
  • 07:00-17:00 Monday to Friday (45 hours per week paid)
  • £12.21 per hour increasing after successful probationary period
  • Early finish bonuses for achieving or surpassing targets!
