Job summary

Staffline is seeking a Production Operative in Nottingham to join our client, a leading bakery manufacturer. You will operate bakery machinery, assist with packing and labeling, and help maintain hygiene standards in a warm, busy environment.

Training is provided, and shifts include day and night rotations with overtime opportunities. Applicants must have good English, be reliable and able to work physically, with transport to the site if needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in bakery or production environments is helpful but not required.
• Clear English communication is essential.
• Willingness to work in warm and dusty conditions and to follow hygiene rules.

for our client, a leading bakery manufacturer, producing a wide range of bread and baked goods for major retailers and food service providers.

We're looking for motivated people who would like to join our team and help us to deliver high quality products to our customers every day.

The rate of pay is

£12.71 per hour.

This role offers

• adhoc shifts.

The hours of work are:

• 6am to 6pm.
• 6pm to 6am.

Due to the location, you must have your own transport, unless you are able to travel using the Rainbow One bus.

Your Time at Work

As a Production Operative, your duties include:

• Running and monitoring bakery machinery.
• Picking, packing, and labelling products for distribution.
• Maintaining hygiene and completing cleaning routines.
• Supporting teamwork and continuous improvement.
• Working in warm environments.

Please note that manual handling and lifting are involved in this role.

Our Perfect Worker

Our perfect worker would be reliable, hard-working, and able to follow instructions. They must be comfortable with warm areas, a noisy environment and dusty conditions due to flour.

Applicants must be able to follow hygiene, safety and manual handling rules. PPE is provided and must be worn.

Clear English communication skills are essential to be able to understand and relay information quickly and safely in a noisy environment.

Experience in a similar role is desirable, but not essential, as full training is provided.
