Job summary

Staffline is recruiting Production Operatives for a busy bakery in Worksop, tasked with packing, measuring, feeding and operating on production lines. A 3-shift rotation (days, afternoons, nights) is offered, with hours from 6am to 6am on a rotating basis.

Rewards include full training, on-site canteen, free parking, PPE and overtime opportunities. Prior experience is not essential as full training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Pack products into boxes/baskets.
• Measure, grade and feed batches of raw materials into production machinery.

• Assemble goods on a production line.
• Report equipment faults to maintenance staff.
• Finish products and apply coatings as needed.
• Monitor the production process.

Great opportunity to work as a Production Operative for our clients who supply a range of customers, including retailers, wholesalers, convenience stores, and foodservice customers with their iconic products, which feature in millions of homes.

Staffline is recruiting Production Operatives in Worksop.

Pay rate is the following :

Pre12wks: £16.53 per hour

Pre 12 weeks OT

Mon-Sat: £19.71 per hour

Sun - £22.89 per hour

Post 12wks: £16.82 per hour

Pre 12 wks OT

Mon-Sat: £20.07 per hour

Sun - £23.32 per hour

This is a full-time role, rotation is 3 shifts rotation days, after, and nights and the hours of work are:

• 6am to 2pm


• 2pm to 10pm


• 10pm to 6am

Your Time at Work

As a Production Operative at our client's busy bakery specialising in sweet treats, including mince pies, sweet muffins, and cupcake bases, you will be responsible for:

• Packing products into boxes/baskets


• Measuring, grading, and feeding batches of raw materials into production machinery


• Operating production line equipment


• Assembling goods on a production line


• Reporting equipment faults to maintenance staff


• Finishing products, for example, applying protective coatings


• Monitoring the production process

Experience in a similar role is desirable, but not essential, as full training is provided.
