Staffline is recruiting a Production Operative in Worksop for a busy bakery producing mince pies, muffins and cupcake bases. This is a full-time role with a three-shift rotation (6am–2pm, 2pm–10pm, 10pm–6am).

Pay ranges from £16.53 in the first 12 weeks to £23.32 for post-12 weeks, with weekend rates applying. You will pack products, measure and feed batches, assemble goods, report faults, finish items, and monitor the production line.

Qualifications

• Good understanding of written and spoken English plus numeracy skills.
• Willingness to learn and be flexible in the tasks required of you.
• Team player who can help others and work with supervision.
• Ability to follow instructions from team members and supervisors.
• Communicate effectively to ensure smooth operation and complete checks.

Responsabilités

• Packing products into boxes/baskets.
• Measuring, grading, and feeding batches of raw materials into production machinery.
• Assembling goods on a production line.
• Reporting equipment faults to maintenance staff.
• Finishing products, e.g. coatings.

for our clients who supply a range of customers, including retailers, wholesalers, convenience stores, and foodservice customers with their iconic products, which feature in millions of homes.

Pay rate is the following :

Pre12wks: £16.53 per hour

Mon-Sat: £19.71 per hour

Sun - £22.89 per hour

Sun - £23.32 per hour

full-time role, rotation is 3 shifts rotation days, after, and nights and the hours of work are:

• 6am to 2pm
• 2pm to 10pm
• 10pm to 6am

Your Time at Work

As a Production Operative at our client's busy bakery specialising in sweet treats, including mince pies, sweet muffins, and cupcake bases, you will be responsible for:

• Packing products into boxes/baskets
• Measuring, grading, and feeding batches of raw materials into production machinery
• Assembling goods on a production line
• Reporting equipment faults to maintenance staff
• Finishing products, for example, applying protective coatings
• Monitoring the production process

• Be able to follow instructions from other team members and supervision.

• Completing all relevant checks, i.e. CCP, weight checks, process checks, and cleaning paperwork, etc, where required.

Experience in a similar role is desirable, but not essential, as full training is provided.
