Job summary

Staffline is recruiting a Production Operative at a bakery in Worksop to join a busy production line making sweet treats. The role is full-time with a 3-shift rotation (6am–2pm, 2pm–10pm, 10pm–6am) and a temp-to-perm pathway.

Pay ranges from £16.53 to £23.32 per hour plus overtime opportunities, with free parking, PPE, and full training provided on-site. Initial pay reflects pre- and post-12-week periods, and overtime rates apply before/after 12 weeks.

Qualifications

• Good understanding of written and spoken English plus numeracy skills.
• Willingness to learn and be flexible in the tasks required.
• Teamwork: work as part of a team and help others.
• Able to follow instructions from team members and supervision.
• Ensuring that necessary communication takes place to keep the operation running smoothly.
• Complete all relevant checks (e.g., CCP, weight checks, process checks, cleaning paperwork).

Responsibilities

• Packing products into boxes/baskets.
• Measuring, grading, and feeding batches of raw materials into production machinery.
• Assembling goods on a production line.
• Reporting equipment faults to maintenance staff.
• Finishing products (e.g., applying protective coatings).
• Monitoring the production process.

Production Operative for our clients who supply a range of customers, including retailers, wholesalers, convenience stores, and foodservice customers with their iconic products, which feature in millions of homes.

Staffline is recruiting Production Operatives in

Worksop.

Pay rate is the following :

Pre12wks:

£16.53 per hour

Mon-Sat:

£19.71 per hour

£22.89 per hour

Post 12wks:

£16.82 per hour

Pre 12 wks OT

Mon-Sat:

£20.07 per hour

£23.32 per hour

This is a

full-time role, rotation is

3 shifts rotation days, after, and nights and the hours of work are:

• 6am to 2pm
• 2pm to 10pm
• 10pm to 6am

Your Time at Work

As a Production Operative at our client's busy bakery specialising in sweet treats, including mince pies, sweet muffins, and cupcake bases, you will be responsible for:

• Packing products into boxes/baskets
• Measuring, grading, and feeding batches of raw materials into production machinery
• Assembling goods on a production line
• Reporting equipment faults to maintenance staff
• Finishing products, for example, applying protective coatings
• Monitoring the production process
