Production Operative

Location: Havant

Shift: Days Mon - Fri 8am - 4pm.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Operator performs a variety of tasks with various complexities to support production.

RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES

• Follow detailed instructions and standard operating procedures for all tasks.
• Perform data input to factory tracking system using a computer.
• Run and monitor manufacturing equipment to ensure products are produced efficiently and up to quality standards.
• Conduct visual and functional inspections of products to ensure they meet company quality standards.
• Disassemble, clean and reassemble products to restore them to a usable condition.
• Test refurbished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Clean and sanitize production areas, equipment and tools according to standard operating procedures.
• Operate equipment such as air guns, polishers, pallet jacks and trolleys.
• Perform data erase on electronic test equipment.
• Clean and inspect product then sort by grade.
• Perform functional testing and sorting per result.
• Perform software updates and final testing.
• Perform quality inspection.
• Perform final pack out to finish goods stock.

EDUCATION / WORK EXPERIENCE

• Experience of working in a manufacturing environment.
• Working in a team environment.
