Overview

Major Recruitment invites applications for a Production Technician position at a global, prestigious manufacturing company located in Chadderton, Oldham. The role will primarily involve working in the Assembly area, so previous Assembly experience is highly desirable.

Responsibilities
  • Work in a clean‑room manufacturing environment
  • Handle materials, including films and fabrics
  • Fold, cut, roll, and layer materials
  • Check materials against work orders
  • Print labels and follow detailed work instructions
  • Adhere to all Health & Safety procedures
  • Ensure all tasks meet high quality standards
  • Undertake training and support other departments when required
Key Skills & Experience
  • Previous production experience is essential
  • Assembly experience is highly advantageous
  • Strong attention to detail and high concentration levels

Compensation

Hourly rate: £12.65 per hour

Working Hours

Monday to Friday, 6 am – 2 pm / 2 pm – 10 pm rotating weekly (38 hours per week)

Duration

Temporary to permanent
