Job summary

A leading engineering and manufacturing organization in Hayes, Middlesex is seeking an experienced Production Engineer to contribute to advanced product designs and scalable manufacturing processes. The role requires managing the entire product lifecycle, designing tooling, and applying manufacturing principles. Qualifications

• Ideally have experience with IPC standards, ISO 9001, and ESD controls.
• Background in electronics manufacturing including power supplies, PCBs, wire harnesses, and encapsulated assemblies.

Responsibilities

• Produce manufacturing flow diagrams and estimate manpower requirements.
• Design fixtures, tooling, and packaging for manufacturability.
• Support the transition of new products into operations.
• Generate manufacturing instructions and technical rework documentation.
• Apply design for manufacture (DFM) and design for assembly (DFA) principles.
• Collaborate on BOM structuring, change control, and cost reduction initiatives.
